In compliance with the requirements of Article 36a of the Energy Law, Bulgargaz EAD, a daughter company of Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD, one month prior to filing the application on change in effective quarter prices to the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, Bulgargaz EAD should announce such change in the mass media.
Bulgargaz EAD informs its customers that upon signing the Addendums regarding the agreed with ОAО Gazprom supply prices’ decrease, on the average of 11,1 %, the average price at the entry point of the transmission system shall be close to the effective price for the second quarter of 2012. Therefore, the forecast price of natural gas for the third quarter of 2012 shall be mainly influenced by the Bulgarian Lev-US Dollar exchange rate. The deviation from the ratio 1$ = BGN 1.47728, used upon confirmation of the effective price for the second quarter of 2012, amounting to BGN 699.10 per thousand m3, shall form the expected forecast natural gas price for the third quarter of 2012.
Bulgargaz EAD final proposal on natural gas price for the third quarter of 2012 shall be announced upon its filing to SEWRC – 11.06.2012.
